Maurice Levis (1860 - 1940)

Maurice Levis dedicated himself to landscape. He regularly exhibited at the french artists society from 1886 to 1939,  and he will  become one of his associate in 1888. He received an honorable mention in 1895, a third class medal in 1896 and a gold medal in 1927.
He’s mostly known for his french landscapes, but he has also painted landscapes of east countries. His vision is very appreciated by impressionists.
